rockstar geek. Brett enjoys his job as a Clinical Data Manager (helping research medical breakthroughs at Celgene); in his time off he enjoys reading books, watching movies, and learning new tricks on his camera and in Photoshop. He absolutely adores his wife and 2 daughters.
Mom (Erin)
Complete supermom. Erin loves her job as a Youth Field Researcher (aka 'mother'); in her plentiful spare time (ha!) she enjoys sleeping, re-reading Twilight or Harry Potter, and cuddling with Brett.
Aeriana ('Wacko', 'Princess')
Hybrid Angel/Devil. Aeriana loves her mommy and daddy, each of whom she loves to test at times and pretend innocence at others. A veritable sponge, Aeriana wants to do anything she sees an adult doing; she loves babies and especially adores her little sister, taking great care of her every need.
Zoe Jean ('Stinker', 'Cutie')
Growing fast, Zoe wants to be just like her big sister. Very goal oriented, she'll find a way to get that toy she's been looking at. She loves her pacifier and can't help but snuggle up to her blanket. Zoe is as relaxed as they come, she just loves chillin' out and watching TV.

Just got our first "Da-da!" Out of Shaelyn tonight! Sweet!
Now off to bed. She's one tired baby!

So tired...
Shaelyn fell asleep sitting up. I think she couldn't remember how to lay down. Kinda funny.
The past month or so.
Shaelyn learned to sit up! She loves that she can now play with toys easier and look around at the world.
We finally got Shaelyn to like food. She likes real food. Not baby food not even her bottles that much, but she eats them. But oh man give the girls some shepherds pie, or chicken-a-la-king, or lasagna and she is one happy girl. She has also consequently gotten much chubbier since we figured this out. :)
Aeriana has been a great big sister and loves to read to and take care of Shealyn. Which of corse Shaelyn loves!
Jeaden's adoption was finalized!! Can I get a Woot! Woot! So exciting. We went out to Pittsburg for his baby blessing of course. And had tons of fun. While we were there we also had a trunk or treat that got rained out so we did it inside. :)

Which got cancelled "until further notice" I think they aren't going to have it at all. :( Good thing we went to a neighboring town on the Saturday after Hurricane Sandy so we could go trick or treating. :)
Right before we went trick or treating Shaelyn did a face plant of the floor and cut her lip up pretty bad. There was blood everywhere. I wish i look a picture that night it was all swollen and puffy. It didn't look to bad the next day.

Long Time No Post / Hurricane Sandy
Well not that long, but longer than I would like. Hurricane Sandy came and interrupted our lives a little bit and we were out of power for 5 days. We have a gas fireplace (which broke on day 4 :/ ) and a gas stove and city water and city sewer and it wasn't super cold. We were prepared and only slightly inconvenienced. Plus one of our amazing friends let us borrow their generator the night of day 3 and we were able to then take hot showers and plug our fridges in! Which meant we were able to save almost all of our food.
Our friends in NJ did not fair so well. Many are still without power 10 days later and a snow/ice storm is coming this evening. Which could put more without power again and destroy what is still standing but very weak from Sandy. :(
Even more on the coast have nothing left and its pretty much guaranteed that more will be destroyed tonight with the storm.
We are extremely grateful for everything we have been given and our prayers go out to all those suffering.
