Dad (Brett)
All around rockstar geek. Brett enjoys his job as a Clinical Data Manager (helping research medical breakthroughs at Celgene); in his time off he enjoys reading books, watching movies, and learning new tricks on his camera and in Photoshop. He absolutely adores his wife and 2 daughters.

Mom (Erin)
Complete supermom. Erin loves her job as a Youth Field Researcher (aka 'mother'); in her plentiful spare time (ha!) she enjoys sleeping, re-reading Twilight or Harry Potter, and cuddling with Brett.

Aeriana ('Wacko', 'Princess')
Hybrid Angel/Devil. Aeriana loves her mommy and daddy, each of whom she loves to test at times and pretend innocence at others. A veritable sponge, Aeriana wants to do anything she sees an adult doing; she loves babies and especially adores her little sister, taking great care of her every need.

Zoe Jean ('Stinker', 'Cutie')
Growing fast, Zoe wants to be just like her big sister. Very goal oriented, she'll find a way to get that toy she's been looking at. She loves her pacifier and can't help but snuggle up to her blanket. Zoe is as relaxed as they come, she just loves chillin' out and watching TV.

The Results Are In!!!

Apologies to those who may have been holding their breaths that this wasn't posted earlier... bit of a crazy day. In all fairness, I did swap in some pre-designed pink-based graphics as a not-so-subtle hint (had some baby blue ones ready too if things had gone the other way), but I didn't have time to actually sit and write something out. The news is out though, we had the 20-week ultrasound today and it's she's a girl!!!

The ultrasound was really cool, seeing all the little anatomical identifications... the heart, brain, hands, feet, arm/leg bones, even down to the stomach and kidneys. It really seemed to push the excitement up a notch. Erin had been guessing it was a girl, and I'd been half-secretly hoping that it was a girl... I'm kind of looking forward to spoiling my own little princess and driving Erin nuts doing it. ;-)

The big question we've of course gotten with each person we've told so far is whether we've thought of any names... and the answer is definitely. We've been thinking of names for quite a while and graduated from one to another. Knowing us we'll probably change our minds several times before the baby's born, but for now the front-runner is:

yeah! I would think I would want a girl first--but we'll see how I feel when it happens. I'm so glad--and good name choice.

Congratulations! I actually did notice the Pink in your Graphics but wasn't sure if that was the results of the ultrasound. Girls are so much fun! I am so happy I had Cori first. I love the name too.

Being the best aunt in the universe, I have to not be biased about which is better...a boy or a girl. All I know is that both look equally wonderful in nice crimson colored shirts! Maybe I will have to send a baby gift. :)

I no, I better step it up if I'm going to have to compete with "the best aunt in the universe" - I love the name and I'm assuming the nursery will be decorated in pink pythons??? Congrats! She's a lucky little gal to have such terrific parents. love & best wishes, your favorite aunt jenny (you don't have another aunt jenny do you? Cuz then I couldn't be your favorite aunt jenny)
