Youth Conference
I got back late last night from a 3-day Youth Conference trip. It was one of the most amazing three days I can recall, similar in spiritual potency to EFY. We really had a wonderful group of kids and we had some amazing missionaries (including Elder Ed Pinegar) walk us through each of the church sites in the Palmyra/Fayette area.Thursday we went to the Hill Cumorah; Friday we saw the Smith farm, the Sacred Grove (including a cold, but very powerful, testimony meeting in the Sacred Grove), the printing press and the church bookstore; and Saturday we went to the Whitmer farm and stopped by the Aaronic Priesthood restoration site in Harmony, PA on the way home, sleeping each night is some pretty nice cabins at a church girl's camp site.
It was not fun being away from Erin for so long (this was the first time we've had a day go by without being together since the day we met...) but it was a great few days all the same. It is definitely good to be home though, and good to be back in my comfortable bed.

OK I was just there a few weeks ago. Wasn't it AMAZING?!? I LOVED the sacred grove in the fall! I need to post those pictures (I'm so behind on blogging!)
Pretty pics!
I am jealous. I still need to make it to all of those sites. I was hoping to when I came out there but plans were changed because someone wanted to come home quickly to a boyfriend! :)
